Culture Days: Get cultured this weekend

Friday, September 26, 2014

A three-day celebration of Canadian culture is coming to a city or town near you starting this Friday.

The fifth annual Culture Days will be taking place all across Canada from September 26 to 28 with over 7,500 free opportunities to experience up-close the creative energy of our country’s authors, visual artists, actors, musicians, poets, performers, dancers and other dedicated artists.

There will be many opportunities to interact with culture; with chances to, for example, conduct the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, carve a totem pole, choreograph a group dance and build your own puppet.

What’s happening near you?

Here's a list of some of the most noteworthy activities scheduled for this year’s Culture Days celebration. There’s also an easy-to-use event search engine on the Culture Days website as well as the chance to put together a schedule of the events you want to see through the Culture Days Bright Spots Schedule tool.
