Affiliate royalty payments continue to remain unaffected by HST/GST
Effective July 1, Ontario and British Columbia will be introducing Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) and Nova Scotia will be increasing its current HST rate.
Access Copyright is registered under the Artist Representatives (GST/HST) Regulations to collect GST and HST from users of copyright-protected works and to submit these taxes to Revenue Canada, on your behalf.
As a creator, visual artist or publisher, your Access Copyright royalty payments will not be affected by HST or GST.
