Protecting the Rights of Access Copyright Affiliates

Under Canada's Copyright Act, certain unauthorized reproduction of copyright protected works is prohibited. Both the copying of works and the distribution or sale of unlawful copies are infringements of copyright under the Act.

When authorized to do so, Access Copyright represents our affiliates in the administration of their reproduction rights, and can help prevent or stop illegal photocopying. We can also represent creators and publishers in protecting their digital reproduction rights.

Please note, Access Copyright is not able to assist in disputes between creators and publishers.
