Creating a Policy Regarding Copyright Infringement
Academic institutions have a number of policies in place to help guide students and staff. These policies address issues ranging from human rights and harassment, to academic honesty.
A number of institutions have determined that it is appropriate to include provisions dealing with copyright infringement in their academic honesty policies or elsewhere in the information that they provide to students and staff. Three institutions have provided samples of their policies for others to review.
